Short version: I only have what you send me, I use it to reply, and I'll delete it if you ask.

Who is responsible
This is the personal website of Abhijith J D, based in Kerala, India. I decide what happens to any information you send through it. Questions about your data go to contact@abhijithjd.com.
What I collect
Only what you choose to send me:
- Contact form: your name, email address, message, and any services you picked.
- Email: whatever you include when you write to contact@abhijithjd.com.
- WhatsApp or phone: your number and the messages you send, handled through WhatsApp or your phone carrier.
You can browse the whole site without giving me anything. There are no accounts and no newsletter sign-up.
How I use it
To reply to your enquiry, discuss the work you asked about and, if we work together, to run that project. That's all.
I don't sell your details, share them with marketers or add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
A few services do the work behind the scenes:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google receives contact-form messages (through Google Apps Script), stores them in a Google Sheet in my account and emails them to me.
- My email provider handles messages sent to contact@abhijithjd.com.
- WhatsApp (Meta) handles messages if you contact me there.
These providers may process data outside your country, under their own privacy terms.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for as long as I need them to reply and for any work that follows, then delete them. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email contact@abhijithjd.com and I'll respond within a reasonable time.
Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law or the EU GDPR may give you further rights.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and form messages go straight to my own Google account. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or other secrets through the form.
Children
This site is for businesses and professionals. It isn't aimed at children, and I don't knowingly collect their data.
Other websites
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, Instagram, client sites and certificate pages lead to services with their own privacy policies. This policy covers only abhijithjd.com.
Changes to this policy
