Terms of Use

The ground rules for using this site, and how project work is agreed.

Using this site

abhijithjd.com is the personal website of Abhijith J D. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Information, not advice

The service descriptions, FAQs and case studies explain how I work in general terms. They aren't professional advice for your situation, and they aren't a quote or a promise of a particular result, ranking or timeline.

Project work

Sending an enquiry doesn't create a contract. Any project starts only once we've agreed the scope, price and timeline in writing, and that written agreement is what governs the work.

Security testing of any kind happens only with written authorisation from the owner of the systems, against an agreed scope.

Content and copyright

The text, design and code of this site belong to Abhijith J D unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to link to any page and quote short passages with a link back. Please don't copy whole pages or the design.

Client names, logos and websites belong to their owners and are shown as examples of my work. Organisations named in the acknowledgements, such as NASA and the USPTO, are mentioned only to describe disclosure programs I reported to; it doesn't mean they endorse me.

Reporting a security issue

If you find a vulnerability in this site, please email contact@abhijithjd.com with the details and steps to reproduce. I'll acknowledge good-faith reports and fix confirmed issues.

Please don't run automated scanners or load tests against the site, access data that isn't yours, or disclose an issue publicly before it's fixed. The same contact is published in security.txt.

No warranty

I keep the site accurate and available, but it's provided as is. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for losses that come from relying on its general content. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes

I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. How your data is handled is covered separately in the privacy policy.
